Our customers are at the heart of what we do and we’re always looking to improve our customer service and the experience you have with us. That’s why we’re launching our very first Customer Research Panel, so we can give you the chance to test changes to our online account and app before general release.
We really value your feedback, so as a thank you, all opportunities will be rewarded.
Who’s eligible to get involved?
You’ll need to be a current Ecotricity customer who uses the online account, either on the web version or app.
What does it involve?
The tasks required will vary depending on what features we’re testing. Sometimes it might be testing certain user journeys on the online account or completing surveys to gather interest and preference over different design ideas.
For example, we recently ran a trial prior to our latest online account launch, where we asked our group of customer testers to carry out a number of processes to get their feedback. These included:
Registering for the online account
Viewing and paying a bill
Viewing and submitting a meter reading
Resetting an account password
What do I need to do?
If you’re interested in getting involved, just give our UX team an email at research@ecotricity.co.uk to register your interest. We’ve put together an email template for you to use, so all you need to do is copy and paste this into a new email and fill in your details. If you don’t have your account number to hand, don’t worry – we should be able to find you using the rest of the details.
